The LPT 9310 COTS+ from Thales Group is a Pulse-Tube Cryocooler that has been designed for NASA's ECOSTRESS instrument on the International Space Station. It provides a cooling capacity of 5.1 W at 80 K that requires a maximum input of 180 W. The cryocooler is based on a dual opposed-piston with flexure-bearing moving-magnet compressor coupled to a pulse-tube cold finger for commercial heritage. It has a mass of less than 7 kg and is designed for missions that demand reliable cooling at cryogenic temperatures.
