The TDFM001000 from Teledyne e2v HiRel Electronics is a Space Qualified Frequency Multiplier that up-converts an input frequency from 7.5-25 GHz to an output frequency from 15-50 GHz. This single-ended GaAs frequency multiplier can amplify the input signal to an output power level of up to 13 dBm and has a fundamental rejection value of 20 dB. It requires a DC supply voltage of 6 V and has a current consumption of up to 250 mA. This doubler is fabricated using a GaAs PHEMT technology which is based on electron beam lithography to ensure high repeatability and uniformity. It is ideal for satellite transponders, transmit/receive modules, microwave-based communications, millimeter-wave point-to-point radio and related applications.
