The RW222 from AAC Clyde Space is a Reaction Wheel that is specifically designed for 1-3U CubeSat platforms. It has a maximum torque of 2 mN.m and a total momentum storage of +/- 3-6 mNms. The reaction wheel has a mass of TBC gms and supports I2C interface. It requires a DC supply of 3.25-3.5 V and has a bus logic level voltage of 3.3-5.1 V. It has an internal fire-and-forget controller that frees up the host processor’s workload. It measures 25 x 25 x 15 mm and is ideal for attitude control of CubeSats and other small platforms.
