WFA120KA-IEC Image

The WFA120KA-IEC from Norsat is a Ka-band auto fly-away antenna designed to provide rapid-deployment broadband satellite communications for remote and mobile operations. Operating with a receive frequency range of 18.7–21.2 GHz and a transmit frequency range of 29.0–31.0 GHz, it delivers high-performance connectivity for demanding SATCOM applications. This antenna features a 1.2 m reflector and provides receive and transmit gains of 43.3 dBi and 46.4 dBi, respectively, ensuring reliable high-throughput communication links.

It supports an elevation range of 10° to 90° and maintains a cross-polarization performance of 1.5 dB, enabling accurate signal transmission and reception across Ka-band networks. The WFA120KA-IEC incorporates fast-deploying automatic 3-axis acquisition technology and supports the LinkControl interface for simplified setup and operation. This rugged 8-segment carbon fiber reflector provides durability while maintaining lightweight portability, making it suitable for field deployment in challenging environments.

The system operates from a 110–230 V AC power supply and consumes approximately 550 W during operation. It is designed to withstand operational wind speeds up to 49 km/h and is housed in a transportable configuration measuring 84.5 × 62 × 49 cm with a total mass of approximately 32 kg. Portable and high-performance, the WFA120KA-IEC antenna is ideal for remote enterprise communications, energy sector operations, emergency response deployments, media broadcasting and other mobile satellite communication applications requiring rapid setup and reliable connectivity.
