Choke Ring TT&C Ka-band Antenna Image

The Choke Ring TT&C Ka-band Antenna from Anywaves is a high-performance telemetry, tracking, and command (TT&C) antenna designed for satellite and space communication applications in the Ka-band. Available in dedicated transmit and receive configurations, it operates across the 19.7–20.2 GHz and 29.5–30 GHz frequency bands, delivering reliable signal transmission and reception for demanding space missions. Its advanced choke ring architecture minimizes multipath interference, ensuring enhanced signal integrity and precise communication performance.

This antenna supports left-hand or right-hand circular polarization and provides hemispherical coverage with a half-power beamwidth greater than 90°, enabling robust communication links across a wide field of view. It features excellent RF performance with a reflection coefficient below -18 dB, realized gain of up to 5 dBi at boresight, and stable axial ratio characteristics over a broad angular range. The full-metal construction offers exceptional durability and resistance to harsh space environments while maintaining reliable performance throughout the mission lifecycle.

With a compact form factor of less than 1U, the antenna is optimized for integration into modern satellite platforms where size, weight and performance are critical. The receive version measures 108 × 108 × 44 mm and weighs less than 75 g, while the transmit version measures 50 × 50 × 60 mm and weighs less than 140 g. Featuring a 4-hole M3 mounting interface, SMA 2.9 female connector, the Choke Ring TT&C Ka-band Antenna is ideal for LEO, MEO and GEO satellites requiring reliable Ka-band telemetry, tracking, and command communications.
