The SMPOD16-CASPIAN from NPC SPACEMIND is a CubeSat Deployer designed to accommodate and deploy CubeSats up to 16U with exceptional flexibility in satellite size, configuration and mass. Serving as the interface between CubeSats and the launch vehicle, the deployer ensures secure payload accommodation and reliable deployment of one or multiple satellites during launch missions.

The system features a redundant fail-safe NEA actuation system ensuring safe actuation, along with fast and easy integration procedures and quick resetting. It offers the widest clearances on the market and ensures robustness by securely holding the payload inside the deployer to prevent rattling during launch. A redundant telemetry feedback system provides deployment confirmation signals, while the use of aluminum and carbon fiber ensures a lightweight design. The system is compatible with most launchers.

Key features include a highly configurable architecture capable of hosting up to 4 CubeSats in a single deployer in both standard and XL dimensions, robust clamping with each CubeSat securely held by up to three rails, easy accessibility to already integrated payloads up to the launch site, and dedicated integration support through a sledge system that ensures secure payload integration.
