The HYDRA ACCESS from Sodern is a High Performance and Modular Star Tracker Solution which has a bias value of 11 arcsec and a temporal noise value of 2.3 arcsec(XY) and 18 arcsec(Z). It has a maximum slew rate of acquisition up to 5 deg/s2 and tracking less than 8 deg/s2. The star tracker has a baffle sun exclusion angle of 26 deg and has a baffle earth exclusion angle of 18.5 deg. It has an output data rate of 8 HZ and SpaceWire as data interfaces. The star tracker offers a long operating lifetime of 10 years in LEO orbit and 18 years in GEO orbit. It requires a power supply of 5 V and has a power consumption of 0.7 W. The star tracker has HAS-2 CMOS sensor with Thermo-Electric Cooler and is designed for GEO missions.
