S6118 Image

The S6118 from Mercury Systems is a Space-Qualified RF Coupler designed for reliable signal distribution and monitoring across the 2000 to 2400 MHz frequency band. Engineered for high-reliability aerospace and space applications, this coupler delivers low insertion loss of up to 0.3 dB and maintains a low VSWR of 1.25:1, ensuring excellent signal integrity and minimal power loss.

The coupler provides 20 dB isolation and offers precise amplitude and phase performance with a peak-to-peak amplitude balance of 0.5 dB and a 90° phase balance, making it suitable for balanced RF architectures. It supports continuous-wave (CW) power handling of up to 20 W and operates reliably over a wide temperature range from –65 °C to +85 °C.

Featuring a low-loss stripline design and vented construction, the S6118 ensures stable electrical performance in harsh operating environments. Housed in a compact package measuring 0.50 × 0.66 × 1.16 inches, this space-qualified coupler is ideal for booster systems, satellite payloads, and other mission-critical applications requiring dependable RF coupling and long-term reliability.
