The ATmegaET64M1 from Microchip Technology is a Radiation-Tolerant 8-bit AVR Microcontroller designed for high-reliability aerospace and satellite applications. Operating from a 3.0 to 3.6 V supply, this space-grade microcontroller delivers up to 1 MIPS throughput at 1 MHz using an enhanced RISC architecture featuring 131 single-cycle instructions and 32 general-purpose working registers. The radiation-tolerant design ensures dependable embedded control performance in harsh orbital environments.

This microcontroller integrates 64 KB of in-system self-programmable Flash memory, 4 KB of SRAM and 2 KB of EEPROM with true Read-While-Write capability for flexible data handling and firmware updates. It incorporates a 12-bit Power Stage Controller for motor control applications, along with two Timer/Counters featuring PWM functionality. Communication interfaces include UART with LIN support, CAN 2.0A/B compliant with ISO16845 certification and SPI connectivity. Advanced analog functions include an 11-channel 10-bit ADC with differential programmable gain, 10-bit DAC and four analog comparators, enabling precise mixed-signal processing for embedded aerospace systems.

Built for harsh radiation environments, the ATmegaET64M1 is available in compact 32-lead TQFP32, supporting lightweight and space-constrained electronic designs. The ATmegaET64M1 is ideal for satellite bus electronics, motor drive systems and space-qualified embedded control applications requiring reliable low-power processing and radiation-tolerant operation.
