The SKU 502/024 from Aaronia AG is a Power Limiter is an RF Signal Limiter designed to protect sensitive RF receivers and front-end components from excessive input power while maintaining excellent signal integrity across a wide 10 MHz to 8 GHz operating frequency range. Housed in a robust shielded enclosure with SMA male/female connectors, it provides low insertion loss of 0.5 dB (10 MHz–3 GHz), 1.2 dB (3–6 GHz) and 1.7 dB (6–8 GHz), along with high return loss of up to 22 dB, ensuring reliable broadband performance with minimal signal degradation.

Engineered for high-performance RF protection, this limiter effectively attenuates excessive RF signals up to +30 dBm, reducing leakage power to approximately 16 dBm while offering a limiting threshold of 13 dBm at 915 MHz and 9 dBm at 8 GHz. It delivers excellent linearity with an input IP2 of up to 88 dBm and IP3 of up to 37 dBm, enabling accurate signal transmission in demanding RF environments. Featuring an ultra-fast 1 ns response time and 1 ns recovery time, it provides rapid protection against high-power pulses and transient events without compromising system performance.

The wideband frequency coverage and rugged construction make it an excellent choice for protecting RF systems operating across HF, VHF, UHF, L-band, S-band and C-band frequencies. Compact, durable and easy to integrate, the SKU 502/024 is ideal for satellite communication (SATCOM) systems, radar platforms, GPS receivers, Wi-Fi and wireless communication equipment, cellular infrastructure, amateur radio systems and RF test & measurement applications requiring dependable broadband signal protection and high-linearity performance.
