The Recorder Mk2 from STAR-Dundee is a high-performance Solid-State Recorder designed for validation, debugging and unobtrusive monitoring of complete SpaceWire systems. It operating at data rates up to 400 Mbit/s per link and has an aggregate recording throughput of more than 600 Mbit/s. It is powered by an Intel Core i7 CPU board with 16 GB RAM and the recorder provides robust computing capability that includes two Gigabit Ethernet ports, two USB 3.0 ports and dual mini DisplayPort outputs for connectivity and remote access. It requires a AC supply voltage of 110/240 V and it runs on Windows 10 Pro and STAR-System software stack pre-installed. The Recorder Mk2 has a compact 4U/32HP 19" chassis of size 172 x 168 x 208 mm with detachable feet allowing desktop or rack-mounted operation.
