ASTRIX 1000 SERIES Image

The ASTRIX 1000 SERIES from Airbus is an Inertial Measurement Unit with a rotational measurement range of +/- 140 degrees/sec. This IMU has a scale factor angular resolution of 0.0132 arcsec/LSB and a linearity of less than 500 ppm (asymmetry 3 σ). It is designed using FOG technology, providing more than 15 years of continuous operation. The IMU has a stability of less than 0.01 degrees/h over 1 hour and an ARW of less than 0.005 degrees/√h. It has a radiation tolerance of up to 100krad total dose and supports 1553 and RS-422 interfaces for TM/TC. The ASTRIX requires a power bus supply voltage of 22-50 V and has a power consumption of 13.5 W. It has a mass of 4.5 kg and a volume of ø 263 x 192 mm. This IMU is ideal for LEO, MEO, and GEO satellites and deep space probes with unlimited lifetime.
