The IMEPS2 from ISISPACE is a Satellite Electrical Power System designed for CubeSat missions from 3U upwards. This second-generation EPS has multiple configurations with an energy storage capacity of 45-135 Wh. It is integrates with PCU, PBU, PBP and PDU modules to provide flexible power distribution, redundancy and scalability. The system features up to 4x 39 W MPPT channels per PCU supports multiple 45 Wh Li-ion battery packs and includes protections such as overcurrent, reverse-current and voltage ramp control. The power system communicates over dual I²C or UART interfaces (with optional SPI), FRAM-based MCUs, rich telemetry and GaN-FET solar interfaces for high efficiency. It is ideal for larger nano- and micro-satellites.
