The SOLO-EPS X4 from 2NDSPACE is a Modular CubeSat Electrical Power System (EPS) designed to provide robust and reliable power management for small satellite missions. It is configured with a Power Distribution and Control Unit (PDCU) and four Battery Management Systems (BMS) supporting CubeSats ranging from 1U to 27U. This EPS offers up to 24 controllable power outputs (3 per channel) with customizable voltages ranging from 3.3-16.8 V. It can deliver a peak channel current of up to 3.3 A over 6 channels and provides a total peak power output of 104 W. The power unit has an onboard energy storage capacity of 50 Wh and includes 6 independent MPPT-driven solar inputs. It supports full protections against over-voltage, under-voltage and over-current conditions. The power unit features multiple communication interfaces including RS485, UART, CAN and I2C. It has a mass of 678 g and measures 97 x 92 x 44 mm.
