Space applications are inherently mission-critical and often real-time in nature. Traditional methods for connecting compute with I/O in space, suffer from significant drawbacks both economically and technically. Ethernet, complemented by Time-Sensitive Networking (TSN) addresses these drawbacks while enabling the higher speed connectivity next-generation space systems demand.
