C3S EPS-1000 Image

The C3S EPS-1000 from C3S Electronics Development is a Satellite Electrical Power System with a total input power of 46.9 W and an input current of 0.75 A. It has an output voltage of up to 12.6 V and an output surge voltage of 13.5 V. This radiation-tested EPS has a switching frequency of 400 - 480 kHz and an efficiency ranging from 65 - 89 %. It has up to 7 series triple junction solar cells and each solar cell has a programmable voltage range of 6 - 25 V. This flight-proven Micro-D main converter is compliant with MIL-DTL-83513 and features a Nano-D access port for battery charging and USB service interface. It supports redundant CAN bus for telemetry and telecommand communication.

The EPS has a maximum of 50 W total incoming solar panel capacity. It comes with integrated overvoltage, overcurrent, overpower, configurable current limitation, and a two-level battery undervoltage protection. This ESA-qualified EPS has 3.3 V, 5 V, and unregulated voltage levels and is suitable for 3U/ 6U and 12U CubeSat platforms.
